6. A Rosy Future Or Not

Mark Andrew Johnson

6. A Rosy Future or Not

Trying to predict the future is like shaping water using our hands

For all concerned it is better that no one has the power to give commands

If people gain this ability to foresee

Life will change for everyone but hope will always be free

If I could predict what you're thinking now, would it unease or worry you? The answer would most likely be yes, but technology is moving in that direction at an alarming rate. Knowing people's information is power and control, especially when it comes to buying goods and services. But if people's free will of private thinking is taken away, then in my opinion there is nothing left. At the moment what you're reading is my private thoughts, but for how long will it be this way, before technology tells me what I can and can't say to you?
